Local storm damage

Due to storms in our local area, SERVPRO of Arlington Heights/Prospect Heights was called out to this home due to water coming up through the floor drain of the basement.  

Our technicians arrived onsite and became immediately removing the contents from the affected area, extracted the standing water, and placed equipment to the basement to being the drying process.

When there is standing water, the most important thing to do to prohibit mold growth is to remove the water as soon as possible.  Then next thing is to make sure that you are applying an antimicrobial to the affected area, which again will detour mold from growing.  As well as properly drying out the wet space.
